Service-Learning Courses

The Center for Career & Experiential Education recognizes the following courses as having a service-learning component. Service-Learning is curriculum-based hands-on learning with the community that addresses real world issues. Service provides context for translating discipline-based theories into practice. Students apply academic and discipline knowledge to meet community identified needs. The service work is profoundly connected to and enhanced by the specific course of study. Depending on the instructor, the Service Learning component may be an optional or required part of the course content.
