Goal 1: Develop mastery of a body of knowledge in a substantive area
- Students will demonstrate a breadth of knowledge in core principles across health science disciplines.
- Students will use existing scholarship to advance their depth of knowledge in their chosen health sciences discipline.
Goal 2: Develop mastery of rigorous research methods and applicable skills
- Students will critically analyze and evaluate the scientific literature.
- Students will execute scientific methods to design and carry out research.
- Students will apply relevant statistical procedures to manage, analyze, and interpret patterns in quantitative and qualitative data.
- Students will disseminate scientific solutions and/or evidence-based care practices through effective communication to multiple audiences.
