Offsite Hotels
Group Room Blocks are offered at the following local hotels between June 29-July 3. Both hotels are located a 15-minute drive from campus and rates include full daily breakfast and complimentary parking. Note: the special discounted group rate of $249/night is available on a first come first serve basis until May 15.
Hampton Inn is located in South County Commons, in short walking distance to a movie theater, brewery, shops, and several restaurants.

Directions from these hotels to campus: Departing the hotel, go north on Route 1. Using the left lane, turn left at the traffic light onto Route 138. Continue down Rt 138 for approximately 3.8 miles. Turn right at the traffic light at the main entrance to campus onto Upper College Road. Proceed down Upper College Road, through two stop sign intersections to the end. Turn left onto Flagg Road. CBLS, your conference venue is on the left, 120 Flagg Road. Parking is available along Flagg Road or in Lots 6, 7 or 20.
Shuttle transportation between Hampton Inn and Fairfield Inn South Kingstown will be offered at the start and end of each day (there will be limited seats on shuttle).
On Campus Lodging
URI offers Apartment-Style Hall lodging for guests in shared suites with private single bedrooms, shared living room, kitchen and shared private bathrooms. On campus lodging is located a short walk from the conference venue and dining hall.

Booking your stay on campus is an affordable option to stay within walking distance to the conference venue. Your overnight stay will be in a residence hall, without the upgraded amenities of a hotel, and more closely resemble that of a basic hostel. For example, there are no TVs or artwork in the suites or bedrooms, and no concierge service. For those registering to stay on campus, you will be assigned to a shared suite of 4-5 bedrooms (on average) with two shared private bathrooms within the suite. Each suite also offers a shared kitchen and living room. A linen packet is included and includes basic sheets, a pillow, a light blanket, a towel and washcloth – folded at the foot of the bed for guests to make their own beds. Each small private bedroom within the shared suite has one bed, desk with chair, dresser and wardrobe. One person per bedroom (couples must book two rooms even if they decide to share the bed due to shared bathrooms and other spaces within the suite).
