Conference Venue
The Center for Biotechnology and Life Sciences (CBLS) is URI’s Auditorium. The CBLS LEED-Gold building embodies URI’s aspirations to create world-class, environmentally responsive facilities. The space was thoughtfully designed to bring in natural light, host large groups, and maintain a comfortable flow.
How to reach the meeting Venue/URI
By Flight
T.F. Green Airport (PVD), located in Warwick, RI, is 23 miles from URI, less than a 30-minute drive.
Taxi/Uber/Lyft from T.F. Green is available at any time.
Logan Airport (BOS), located in Boston, MA, is 80 miles from URI, a 90+ minute drive.
Taxi/Uber/Lyft from Logan is available at any time.
By Car

The main campus entrance is at the traffic light signaling the junction of Route 138 and Upper College Road. After turning onto Upper College Rd proceed through two intersections to the end and make a left on Flagg Road. CBLS is located down on your left.
Parking is available along Flagg Road between 7am-11pm and in Lots 7, 20 and 25 (see campus parking map). Parking during summer months is permissible in student/resident lots without a permit. Please be sure to park in legal spaces between white lines, not on the grass. Parking in handicap spaces requires a placard.
By Train
Amtrak – Kingston Railroad Station is conveniently located 2 miles from URI’s Kingston campus and is also served by RIPTA routes #66 and #64.
MBTA regional commuter rail services – Wickford Junction offers MBTA regional commuter rail services and is located 8 miles from the Kingston campus in North Kingstown.
Uber/Lyft is available on the app 24/7 but may be limited near campus during peak summer months.
A Car Rental is recommended if you plan to explore the area freely.
