The CMD Faculty would like to congratulate Katelyn Royael, who was honored in May at the Academic Excellence Award ceremony as the 2025 Outstanding Undergraduate in CMD for 2025. In addition to being an excellent student, Katelyn Royael has been involved in nearly every aspect of life at URI: Vice President of her sorority, URI 101 mentor, Rhodython Coordinator, intern at Hasbro, and facilitator for the Hearing Loss Education Group. Her ability to thrive in the face of adversity demonstrates a strength of character that will serve her well in graduate school and beyond.
