Dr. Marc Maffei has been awarded a highly competitive New Investigators Research Grant from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Foundation. His project, entitled “Speech Kinematics and Language Skills in Late Talkers” will explore relationships between motor speech skills and persistent language delays using optical motion capture technology to track speech movements.
