Joanna Raymond, MS, RDN, LDN

Biography

Joanna Raymond began her SNAP-Ed career as an undergraduate volunteer in 2010. Through this experience she developed a passion for community nutrition and continued to expand her knowledge and practice in the field as a graduate assistant from 2010-2012. Her research involved a nutrition intervention among middle school students. After passing her Registered Dietitian exam in 2012, she began to work full time as a Research Associate for SNAP-Ed. Joanna loves working with all different groups in the community and finds it especially rewarding when the elementary-aged students she works with start to develop healthy eating and exercise habits as a result of the nutrition education workshops. When Joanna is not working at SNAP-Ed she is teaching group fitness classes or chasing around her mini labradoodle with her husband. She also spends a lot of time in the kitchen testing out new recipes!
