Biography

As an EFNEP Community Nutrition Assistant, Joy teaches EFNEP curricula to adult and youth groups throughout Rhode Island. Joy Robinson is a University of Rhode Island graduate and Rhode Island resident. She loves working with people throughout the community and believes in leading by example. Joy has been with EFNEP since 2012 and is happy for the opportunity to do what she loves every day, which is to encourage people and share beneficial information. Joy loves seeing the delight on peoples’ faces when they are learning and succeeding. She enjoys physical fitness, promoting a healthy lifestyle, reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family. She credits her success, both present and past, to her faith in God, her parents and grandmother, and to the many mentors she has known. Life is a journey that only gets better when you have support along the way.
