Biography

Nick is originally from the West Coast, where he completed his BS in Clinical Nutrition with a minor in Women’s Studies at the University of California, Davis. Most recently, he completed his MS and Dietetic Internship at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Nick is an amateur ceramicist, and he also enjoys exploring the outdoors with his dog in his free time. Nick has a strong background in the development and evaluation of statewide food access and nutrition education programs. Nick is passionate about promoting health equity and food justice across the state of Rhode Island through his support of SNAP-Ed and EFNEP at URI… because everyone, everywhere, deserves to be healthy.
