Stephanie completed her BS in Clinical Dietetics and Culinary Nutrition at Johnson & Wales University in 2014, and her MS in Nutrition and Health Promotion at Simmons University in 2021. She is a Registered Dietitian with an extensive background in culinary arts and a passion for sharing her knowledge about how to make healthy eating accessible and valuable. She uses her culinary talents to expand SNAP-Ed’s recipe collection, with a focus on incorporating foods and cooking techniques that are culturally relevant to the communities that URI SNAP-Ed serves. Stephanie also has experience working in both one-on-one and group nutrition counseling in a private practice setting, and will soon continue this work at the Rhode Island Department of Corrections. When Stephanie is not working, she enjoys being active, playing soccer, and spending time with her friends, family, and two little dogs.
