Supporting Students. Strengthening Community.

As Rhode Island’s public, land- and sea-grant university, the University of Rhode Island is deeply rooted in the local community. Our students are not only learning on campus—they’re living in neighborhoods across Narragansett, South Kingstown, and beyond. Whether for a semester or several years, this off-campus experience becomes an important part of their growth, independence, and education.

We are proud to partner with local property owners, managers, and residents to support safe, responsible, and respectful student housing. Together, we ensure that our students thrive—not only as scholars, but as neighbors.

📣 A Note of Thanks

To our local landlords and property partners: thank you.

By opening your homes to URI students, faculty, and staff, you are helping shape our Rams’ college experience, their understanding of responsibility, and their connection to the broader world. You play a vital role in supporting our mission as a public institution dedicated to education, service, and community engagement.

We appreciate your efforts to maintain safe and welcoming properties, respond to student needs, and work collaboratively with the University and local officials. Your partnership helps ensure that off-campus living is positive for everyone—students, neighbors, and the towns we proudly call home.

🤝 We’re in this together.🤝
