COVID-19 vaccinations available on Kingston Campus to URI community members

Register today to get vaccine at June 3 clinic in Memorial Union.

All members of the URI community (students, including those from outside of Rhode Island, staff, and faculty) will be able to obtain a COVID-19 vaccine Thursday, June 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Kingston Campus. The Moderna vaccine will be administered in Atrium 2 of the Memorial Union. If you have questions, please call Health Services at 401.874.2246.

To schedule your free, prioritized appointment, please use the QR code or the link below. You may receive your first vaccine at this clinic and receive your second Moderna shot in your home state, including Rhode Island.

Things to know:

  • Insurance information is optional.
  • Registration will close at noon Wednesday, June 2.
  • Participants will be observed for 15 minutes after vaccination. Those who have had an anaphylactic (allergic) reaction in the past will be observed for 30 minutes.

Vaccination requirements

All students on all URI campuses this fall will be required to be fully vaccinated or file an exemption with URI Health Services. Students will be required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated at least 14 days before returning to campus. Proof of vaccination must be submitted to URI Health Services no later than Aug. 16, 2021, to participate in traditional move-in. If your program requires you to move in earlier, you need to be sure to provide proof of a full vaccination series at least 14 days before your planned arrival.
