Biography

I am an assistant professor in the Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Rhode Island. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) under the guidance of Prof. Ravi Iyer and Prof. Zbigniew Kalbarczyk.

My research interests focus on the cybersecurity of cyber-physical systems and Internet-of-things (IoT). We have applied intrusion detection systems, software-defined networking (SDN), edge computing, deep reinforcement learning-based AI approaches to increase the resilience of modern industrial control systems, such as smart grids and smart homes.
