Design a self-healing network to restore lost measurements from phasor-measurement units (PMU) due to attacks, by using software-defined networking (SDN) to reconnect PMUs
- Built an integer linear programming (ILP) model that simultaneously (i) reduces the performance overhead of reconfiguring communication networks and (ii) increases the redundancy of measurements
- Considered resource constraints in both communication networks and physical infrastructures in the ILP model;
- Proposed a greedy heuristic that reduced the computation time by one order of magnitude while maintaining near-optimal results
