Q: Do I have to maintain a certain GPA?
A: While we do not have a certain GPA that must be maintained, we do encourage a good academic standing. We do not want you to take time away from your studies in order to fulfill your expectations in our organization.
Academic credit
Q: How do I get credit for my participation?
A: You can receive credit by speaking with your academic advisor and the Diversity Dialogues administrative team and seeing if you can take a field experience course or potentially an independent study. It is mostly up to your academic advisor’s discretion. If you need help asking your academic advisor let us know, we are more than open to help!
How do you want to be involved?
Q: Can I design my own workshop once I become a member?
A: Yes! We are always welcoming new ideas and inspiration to our organization, as we only want to grow. Let us know and we would be more than happy to see if we can make your ideas a reality
Q: I want to be involved but do not want to facilitate presentations, can I still join?
A: Yes! We have other positions in our organization that do not require public speaking. Please feel free to contact us via email and a member can speak with you about our various member positions!
