Diversity Dialogues, coordinated by CED’s undergraduate scholars in residence, is an undergraduate-led initiative that offers dialogue-based diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice workshops for student groups and organizations on campus.
The ultimate goal for this initiative is to create a safe space for the exploration and discussion of difficult topics, centered around race, social inequality, diversity, and social justice. Diversity Dialogue facilitators strive to encourage themselves and others to push for self-evaluation of their own social biases. Diversity Dialogues offers workshops for student groups on the following topics:
- Implicit bias
- Imposter syndrome
- Microaggressions
- Race in the U.S.
- Social identity, power, and privilege
