Guided College Visits for Grades 6–12
Engineering Up Close offers immersive, guided visits to the University of Rhode Island College of Engineering for chaperoned student groups in grades 6–12. These full-day visits give students a firsthand look at what it’s like to study engineering at URI.

A typical visit includes:

• An admissions information session tailored for younger audiences
• A visit to the International Engineering Program
• A tour of our Narragansett Bay Campus with a URI Ocean Engineering student
• A hands-on tour of the Fascitelli Center for Advanced Engineering, led by an Engineering Student Ambassador

We can customize group sizes and visit activities based on student age, interests, and goals.
