Curriculum

The MEML program consists of 30 credits (10 classes), combining technical depth with essential business and leadership skills. Courses may be taken individually or as part of the full degree program. Credit from a Graduate Certificate may also be applied toward this degree. Refer to the University Academic Catalog for course descriptions and prerequisites.

Notes:

  • Courses at the 400-, 500-, and 600-level are generally approved for graduate credit unless specifically designated as “not for graduate credit” in the course catalog.
  • Nuclear Engineering Track – Students must complete five (5) Nuclear Engineering (NUE) courses. The elective must be selected from the list of NUE courses approved for graduate credit.
  • Industrial and Systems Engineering Track – Students must complete six (6) Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) courses in total. The elective must be chosen from the Engineering Core courses designated for this track. Students with credit in ISE 420, 451, or 449 cannot enroll in the graduate version of the courses, ISE 520, 540, and 549, respectively.
  • Industry 4.0 Track – Students must complete six (6) ISE courses in total. The elective must be one of the ISE courses listed above.
