Biography

Michael Sivak is a PhD Student at the University of Rhode Island. His research interests include 19th and 20th century American literature, comics and the graphic novel, science and nature writing, and gender studies. As an animation storyboard artist, he has worked for Nickelodeon, Adult Swim, and PBS. His fiction, poetry, and comics have appeared in a number of international publications. He has taught writing at Boston University, Northeastern University, and Bentley University.
