Biography

Aggie Savage is a PhD student at URI who recently moved to New England from the American South. She holds a BA in The Study of Religion in Culture from The University of Alabama and an MA in English Literature from Jacksonville State University. Her research interested include: contemporary American poetry; German poetry; representations of supernatural evil in literature; translation studies; and 20th century literature with an emphases on Weird Fiction and on Jewish Literature written in German by survivors of the Shoah. She also writes creatively, mostly in the form of poetry, and has been published in the literary magazines Something Else and “Fuckus.”

When not working she can usually be found obsessing over tabletop roleplaying games and/or consuming entirely too much tea.
