Brianne Neptin

Biography

Brianne Neptin is a Master’s student and an experiential education coordinator for the College of Arts & Sciences in URI’s Center for Career and Experiential Education working to expand and increase experiential learning opportunities for students. She currently holds a B.S. in Environmental Economics and Management and an M.S. in College Student Personnel from URI as well as an M.S. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Connecticut.

After serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer focusing on agribusiness in Moldova from 2005 to 2007, she returned to URI as the coordinator for the Coastal and Environmental Fellowship Program in the College of the Environment and Life Sciences. After spending the better part of the last 15 years focused on helping others find their passions, Brianne decided it was time to take the leap into the next iteration of her own life.

Her research interests include foods and food cultures and the use of food in Victorian literature.
