Biography

Shannon Brennan is a Master’s student at URI, having graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies from Johnson and Wales University. Her research scholarly work explores themes of gender, the self, and the psyche through the perspectives of female and queer Victorian authors. Beyond her primary focus, her literary and research interests include pop culture, horror, sci-fi, and dystopian studies.

Alongside her academic pursuits, Shannon is the founder of Little City Creative, a content strategy and freelance writing firm that emphasizes elevated professional writing for businesses and individuals. In her (theoretical) free time, she enjoys psychoanalyzing her two giant cats and enjoying the outdoors with her wife.
