Afua Ansong’s chapbook “Try Kissing God” will be published as part of the New Generation of African Poets (2020). This chapbook explores the Adinkra symbols that mention or discuss God, divinity, and kingship, and was greatly supported by EGRA and CFH grants she received during the 2018-19 academic year. This chapbook is part of Afua’s longer critical and creative dissertation project.
