Congratulations to Laura Marciano, whose poem, “Ash Weed,” was recently featured on the Poetry Foundation’s National podcast PoetryNow! The poem was part of “poem of the day,” hear by thousands of subscribers worldwide, and broadcasted on NPR across the country. The poem was recorded at Carnegie Hall this summer. She now has a Poetry Foundation archive page, perhaps the most significant and prestigious site for contemporary poetry, to which other poems will be added. Listen to her reading here. Laura is currently working on her dissertation under the advisement of Dr. Peter Covino.
