Bo Pickard

Acting in concert with other professionals on URI’s Marketing and Communications team, Bo Pickard has helped clients plan and execute their communication strategies with the goal of aligning them with University branding guidelines. This often involves providing an original design, creative direction, graphic identity, and project management.

Recent clients and projects include: branding for Health Services testing trailers; executive summary of an education professor’s research of the PBS Kids series, The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That!™; and digital cards for the Office of the Provost’s virtual Academic Summit, “Anti-Racism at URI: Academic Culture and Curriculum.”

Of special interest, Bo has put the graphic face to the URI Honors Colloquium for many years. Held each fall, it presents a challenge and opportunity to showcase the University.

Bo has worked for the University and the Alumni Association (renamed URI Foundation & Alumni Engagement in recent years) since 1989. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in studio art from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn.
