ISF Congressional Policy Internship

Islamic Scholarship Fund Interns spend a semester on Capitol Hill working for a member of Congress where they will observe the legislative process at the federal level, develop research skills related to public policy, and assist full-time staff with their duties. The Program aims to expose American Muslim students to the privileges and responsibilities of working in the halls of Capitol Hill and inspire a new generation of American Muslim policymakers.


A stipend for Housing & living expenses will be provided, and summer interns will be provided housing
Placement in a Congressional office
Program orientation
Professional leadership and policy enrichment workshops throughout the program

Mentorship opportunities
Job or internship placement support after the program


Eligibility: Third-year Undergraduate (Junior), Fourth-year Undergraduate (Senior)
Minimum GPA: 3
