The internship will focus on assisting the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) through multiple lenses including analytical support, logistics, preventing and detecting threats, and more. Different internship positions will include various responsibilities that will assist the NCIS, but none of these internships are paid. The NCIS will also not be responsible for relocation costs or the like. This is an unpaid internship, but one that comes with an immense amount of interaction with NCIS employees and experience for a student’s future career. There are also opportunities to engage with field offices out of the United States, but those positions require additional communication with the NCIS office.
Engaging in an internship with a federal agency is an incredible opportunity for many reasons. These internships include both the opportunities to network and build up one’s resume in addition to having experiences in the world of federal employment.
