The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation offers a semester-long Emerging Leaders Internship Program. Sponsored by Walmart, it creates a corps of young leaders with the skills, outlook, and contacts necessary to generate and sustain positive change in DC and their local communities. This program will take place in person from August 26-December 13, 2024. Interns receive housing and a $4,000 stipend (paid biweekly). Interns will be placed in various congressional offices, committees, subcommittees, or federal agencies. This program is offered during the fall and spring semesters, too. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, should be at least a college senior by the program start date, have a permit to work in the US, and have a demonstrated interest in public service, governance, and the policy-making process.
Deadline: June 26
