In order to provide educational opportunities for future generations of science scholars, Thermo Fisher is offering scholarship funding to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in an accredited college for the upcoming semester.

To qualify, students:
- will be a legal resident of the 50 U.S. states or District of Columbia. For the purposes of these official rules, a legal resident is a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident or an international student that has a valid student visa to study in the U.S. DACA recipients are not eligible;
- will be age 18 or older
- are pursuing an Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). Students enrolled in certificate programs only are not eligible;
- are enrolled as a Student at an accredited U.S. college or university located in the 50 U.S. states or District of Columbia
- have a declared major of biology, chemistry, biochemistry or a related life science field. Students with a declared major outside of the life sciences but are pursuing a life science minor are not eligible.
- Undergraduate Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors, and those pursuing an Associate Degree must have cumulative college GPA of 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale;
- Undergraduate Freshmen must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale;
- Graduate Students must have a cumulative graduate GPA of > 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and have received cumulative undergraduate GPA of > 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
