The Military Child of the Year Award recognizes outstanding military children who demonstrate resilience, leadership, and achievement in their communities. We are excited to be able to offer recognition for children of National Guard, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard service members. Child must be a legal military dependent between the ages of 13 and 18 at the time of nomination. Status confirmed by Military ID or DEERS enrollment form. Child and one adult guardian must be available to travel to the Washington, DC area for the Gala award presentation.

Recipients, along with a parent or guardian, travel to Washington, D.C., for a special recognition Gala. They also receive a laptop computer and the $10,000 award.
