Within the Feinstein College of Education at the University of Rhode Island, the GEMS-Net Program supports the implementation of high-quality science programming within partnering school districts across the state.

A partnership among Rhode Island school districts, scientists, engineers, and educators, GEMS-Net guides with the mission of advancing science education practices for the benefit of all students.

GEMS-Net provides ongoing curriculum-based, grade specific professional learning in the form of workshops, coaching, and mentoring for science educators as well as district-wide administrator support and strategic planning.
