Advancing Science Education Through Partnerships since 1995

The Guiding Education in Math and Science Network (GEMS-Net) is a research-practice partnership among local school districts, scientists, engineers, and educators.

GEMS-Net provides ongoing curriculum-based professional learning which includes workshops, coaching, and mentoring for kindergarten through eighth grade educators focusing on science education.

Part of the Feinstein College of Education at the University of Rhode Island, the GEMS-Net partnership supports the implementation of high-quality science programming within partnering school districts across Rhode Island.
