2025 Graduate TA Training
Teaching Assistant Training 2025 is a 4-part training program that begins in mid-August. We ask all TAs to participate in TA Training, even if you have participated in the past. We will address important topics covered in previous workshops, as well as content based on new initiatives and new rules.
4-Part Training – once you register, you will receive links to access and register for all parts of TA Training:
- Mental Health First Aid Training for Graduate TAs
- August 12, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. (1 day)
- August 15, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (1 day)
- August 20, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (1 day)
- August 19 & Wednesday, August 20, 5-8 p.m. (2 evenings)
- August 30, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (1 day – note this is a Saturday)

2025 TA Training Agenda*REQUIRED TITLE IX SEXUAL MISCONDUCT PREVENTION TRAINING: If you attend the “Title IX” session of the 2025 TA Training Workshop, either live or via Brightspace, and your participation is confirmed, you will be deemed in compliance with the university’s Title IX Sexual Misconduct Prevention Training for its employees and you will be certified for completion of this required training. RECORDINGS: TA Live Training and Tech Training sessions will be recorded and posted to the Brightspace page. Mental Health First Aid sessions will not be recorded because participants share personal information not appropriate for distribution.
