If you are already enrolled in a graduate degree or a certificate program at URI and intend to supplement your degree with a graduate certificate or a second degree program, you do not need to reapply. Instead, complete the Change or Add a Degree Program form.
URI Graduate Application Instructions:
Applicants are welcome to apply to multiple programs. A new application, as well as a new application fee, must be submitted for each program. In order to start another application, click the Home button at the top left of this online application and click Start New Application.
CAS Application Instructions:
To add a program in your Centralized Application System (CAS) online application you’ll need to follow the instructions below that apply to your specific circumstances.
- If you originally applied to your program using CAS, and want to apply to another program in the same CAS group after matriculation, you may apply to the second program using the same CAS account.
For example, if you are enrolled in the M.A. in English program and want to add a graduate certificate in Gender and Women’s Studies, both are in GradCAS, so you can use the same account. - If you originally applied to your program using CAS, and want to apply to another program in a different CAS group after enrollment, you need to create an account in the new CAS.
For example, if you are enrolled in the M.S. in Computer Science program (GradCAS), and want to apply to the MBA program (BusinessCAS), you need to create a new account in BusinessCAS.
