Editors for Hire — Last Updated October 2025
The following list provides contact information for individuals who take on work as copy and line editors for pay. Any and all terms of the project and payment must be arranged directly with the individual editor. The Graduate Writing and Presenting Lab takes no responsibility for these individuals or their work. We neither endorse nor recommend any editor. Students are responsible for knowing and adhering to the University’sacademic honesty policy, and should engage editors for line editing only. See section 8.27 (Cheating and Plagiarism) of the University Manual for details about academic honesty and original student work.
Freelance Editors: if you are interested in being added to our list, please reach out to the GWPL. Please note we only update this list about once per semester. If you were listed on a previous version of this list, please reach out introducing yourself and your credentials, and we will do our best to add you again.
