Yesterday, Sept 20th, U²GRC held its first in-person meeting of the fall ’24 semester at URI!
We met at AstroSpace — a dedicated wing of URI’s East Hall for U²GRC to house faculty, students and hold collaboration meetings. Almost the entire UMass Dartmouth gravity group: Scott, Vijay, Bhaskar, Manas, Som, Adhrit, Anushka, Abhishekh, Veranya, Swati and Pranav drove in and joined the URI members for an informal get-together and lunch. And, of course, a customary trip to Scarborough Beach on RI’s gorgeous coastline.
