URI’s Harrington School teaches its students to think and dream big. Alexandria Haughey, a 2013 graduate of the Harrington School with a B.A. in Public Relations, did just that. Haughey joined Condé Nast in October of 2013 a short while after graduation. After completing internships for Alice + Olivia, Duffy & Shanley, and StyleWeek, she started off at Condé Nast as an Advertising Assistant and worked her way up to her current position, Account Executive.

Graduating in 2009 with a B.A. in Public Relations, she had hoped to find a marketing position, but her first post-URI job was as an executive assistant in a construction company. She made the most of it, and her success jumping into middle management even landed her in the pages of The Wall Street Journal.
