The Harrington Hub Media Equipment Center (M.E.C.) is a place where students, faculty and staff can go to get support for a variety of media and technology projects, and serves as the equipment center for Harrington School media production classes. You can check out a wide range of equipment, including video cameras, audio field recorders, studio lights, laptops, and more.
To check out gear, just follow these steps:
- Review the HUB M.E.C. Student Handbook
- Read and agree to the Terms of Use
- Log into Patron Portal and reserve your gear
Note: All students enrolled in Harrington School courses are eligible to take out equipment at the Harrington Basic level. Access to additional equipment levels and specialized production facilities are restricted based on course enrollment. Check Patron Portal to see if your class has additional equipment. Be sure to inform the MEC that you have signed your contract in order to be granted access to course specific equipment.
