2018 Honors Colloquium
September 25, 2018 – December 4, 2018
New ways of thinking about gender dominate our culture and politics today. At this pivotal moment in time, what is the (renewed) relevance of gender in shaping human rights in an increasingly diverse world? How do gender identities connect with other dimensions of inequality? And how is our rising consciousness about gender leading to vibrant social conversations, rearrangements of power, and new possibilities?
Reimagining Gender: Voices, Power, Action will be the topic of our 2018 Honors Colloquium. We will present speakers who have emerged as key voices in focusing, redirecting, and leading us toward new ways of addressing these questions. Please join us in this conversation.
Coordinators: Kyle Kusz, Helen Mederer, Rosaria Pisa, Smita Ramnarain
