Weldin Hall is a residence hall specifically designed for first year housing with a floor plan to encourage social interaction. About 330 residents live in this corridor style building. Similar to its sister building, Barlow Hall, Weldin was constructed in 1963, receiving renovations in 2001 and more notably in the summer of 2016. On a sunny day, many will take their studies outdoors to the “grassy knoll” between Weldin and Barlow Hall.
