Human Development and Family Science’s accelerated bachelor’s to master’s (ABM) program allow students to earn both degrees in just five years, by applying credits taken as an undergraduate to the graduate degree. Therefore, students will have completed their master’s degree one year after graduating with their bachelor’s degree. The benefits to ABM students include time and tuition savings, opportunities to pursue research and scholarship interests during their undergraduate years, and a faster track to starting a career in their chosen field. ABM students will also be prepared for positions in human service and education, administration, research and policy organizations, and for advanced academic work at the Ph.D. level.
