As the United States turns 250 years old, Americans and the world have reflected on the meanings of the American Revolution, then and now. For our 2026-27 speaker series, the Center for Humanities presents “American Revolutions.” We will feature seven events. In the fall, we will have four events on the Revolutionary War itself. In the spring, we will present three talks on the Revolution’s legacy, in Latin America, the Caribbean, and on the Civil War.
