Sarah Fiore, an English undergraduate student graduating in May 2020, was invited to present her recent work at The Richard Macksey National Undergraduate Humanities Research Symposium at Johns Hopkins University. Her multimodal project “The House of our Bathroom Fantasies: Living Beyond Male Gaze in “The Virgin Suicides” offers her representation of the girls under the male gaze of the novel vs. the alternate world. Her project site offers potential educational resources supported by the project as well. She was also recently nominated for UNH Summer Institute in the Public Humanities by her mentor Beth Leonadro Silva, a doctoral candidate in English.
