The subvention grant supports the purchase of materials required for the installation of Professor Matthew’s solo exhibition “ReVision” at the Newport Art Museum, which is up till Jan 9, 2022. The exhibition explores hidden histories, untold stories, and traumatic events and the lingering effects of colonialism through photography, video, installation and sculpture. The work makes visible histories that have long been unrecognized.
