Professor David Faflik (English) is the recipient of a Fulbright Distinguished Chair award, to teach 19th-century American literature and research the field of literary diplomacy by exploring Benjamin Franklin’s relationship to Brazil, at the Federal University of Minas Gerais in Belo Horizonte. Public health restrictions permitting, Professor Faflik will be in Brazil during the summer of 2021.
