Congratulations to Jessica Frazier of the History & Gender and Women’s Studies departments! Dr. Frazier has won the Beatrice S. Demers Foreign Language Fellowship from the Rhode Island Foundation. She plans to travel to Arab Academy in Cairo, Egypt to study Arabic during the summer of 2022. Frazier’s current project looks at the genealogy of transnational feminists throughout the twentieth & early-twenty first centuries. It highlights individual stories to understand how feminist ideas interact across boarders and throughout different regions of the world.
