A very warm congratulations to Meg C. Jones of the Education department! Jones received a Fulbright grant to study at the University of Helsinki in Finland. Her research focuses on the global approaches to LGBTQ+ inclusion within teacher preparation programs and she will be conducting her work at the AGORA Centre for the Study of Social Justice and Equality in Education. 

Jones has been an active member of URI’s Diversity and Inclusion Badge Program, leading sessions on the “invisible” sexualities of pansexuality and asexuality, and has recently been published in The Journal of LGBTQ Youth.
