Ronald J. Onorato, a member of URI’s Department of Art and Art History was awarded the Frederick C. Williamson Professional Award from Preserve Rhode Island. Dr. Onorato is awarded for his work as one of Rhode Islands foremost architectural historians. Preserve Rhode Island says that Dr. Onorato’s research, writing, and activism has contributed greatly to the evaluation and preservation of Rhode Island’s historical properties.
