Adam Levin, artist and teacher of classical guitar in URI’s Department of Music, appears as Number 2 on the Weekly Traditional Classical Billboard chart. Levin’s music group, The Great Necks Trio which also features Scott Borg and Matt Rohde, released its second album, “Impressions of Spain” on May 20 and placed second on the Billboard chart, sandwiched between legends, Yo-Yo Ma and John Williams. “Impressions of Spain” presents new musical arrangements that have never been previously experimented with on classical guitar. The pieces featured on the album stretch across nearly three-quarters of a century.
