Ph.D. Student

The integrated circuits design lab (ICDL) at the University of Rhode Island (URI), Department of Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering (ECBE), is seeking a graduate research assistant (Ph.D. or MS/Ph.D.) in the field of analog, digital, and mixed-signal integrated circuits. The candidate is expected to be involved in all aspects of this research including modeling, simulation, circuits design, layout, tapeout, characterization board development, and chip characterization.

Our research lab is located in The Fascitelli Center for Advanced Engineering, one of the most technologically advanced facilities in the United States, featuring flexible spaces for interdisciplinary collaboration, and equipment essential for forward-looking research. Kingston lies in close proximity to popular tourist destinations, like Narragansett, Boston, and New York, yet still retains its small-town feel.

This position will receive full financial support including tuition, stipend, and benefits. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. This position will start Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
