Mini Grant Funding Program

John Hazen White Sr. Center for Ethics and Public Service Mini Grant Program

The John Hazen White Sr. Center for Ethics and Public Service offers mini grants intended to support campus-led projects on applied ethics and public service. The awards range between $250-$2000 per fiscal year and are available to any URI employee (faculty or staff).

The Center will review proposals three times each year: November 15, April 15, and August 15.

All proposals, including names of applicants/project leaders, a brief description of intended work, and a short budget justification, must be submitted via this form, limited to the word/spatial limits indicated. You can find more detailed guidelines and procedures here.

The Center is holding an information session (see below) about the Center’s mini-grants program on Thursday, November 12, 2026 from 3:30-4:30pm in the Galanti Lounge (3rd floor of the library). Light refreshments will be provided. We encourage you to attend!
